TPACK’s Roles in Predicting Technology Integration during Teaching Practicum: Structural Equation Modeling
نویسندگان
چکیده
The current study aims to report the role of technological pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK) in integration technology by preservice teachers during teaching practicum. As this employed a survey as its methodological approach, instruments measuring TPACK practicum were developed based on prior studies validated through validity pilot study. main data (n. 1333) analyzed partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM), supported importance performance map analysis (IPMA). study’s results satisfactory determining scale’s reliability. shows that all hypothetical interactions positively significant. strongest relationship between factors emerged (TPK) TPACK. Additionally, was most significantly affected

Technology Use in Reflective Teaching: A Practicum Research Project
The aim of this study is to combine the practice of reflective teaching and technology. With the help of a group created on Facebook which was accessible only to the group members taking part in the reflective teaching process, an interactive discussion environment was created and the student teachers commented on each others’ performances based on the diaries prepared after each practice. Afte...
متن کاملPredicting Technology Acceptance among Student Teachers in Malaysia: A Structural Equation Modeling Approach
In response towards the advances of technology in the Malaysian education system, the authors investigated the predictors of technology acceptance among a sample of student teachers. Data collected from 245 student teachers were tested against the Technology Acceptance Model using the structural equation modeling approach. The variables that were tested included perceived usefulness (PU), perce...
متن کاملTechnology Integration and Teaching Expertise
This paper reports on a study that investigated the relationships between technology-use and teaching ability in the practice of elementary teachers. Case study data from exemplary technology integrators, representing various levels of teaching and technology-use ability, led to the formulation of five assertions about ways these teachers taught with technology: (1) the ways technology was used...
متن کاملStructural Equation Modeling
This chapter provides an introduction to structural equation modeling (SEM), a statistical technique that allows scientists and researchers to quantify and test scientific theories. As an example, a model from behavioral genetics is examined, in which genetic and environmental influences on a trait are determined. The many procedures and considerations involved in SEM are outlined and described...
متن کاملStructural Equation Modeling
Structural equation modeling (SEM) grows out of and serves purposes similar to multiple regression, but in a more powerful way which takes into account the modeling of interactions, nonlinearities, correlated independents, measurement error, correlated error terms, multiple latent independents each measured by multiple indicators, and one or more latent dependents also each with multiple indica...
